America's Ice Fishing Tournament

presented virtually by Confidence Learning Center

About us

Located in East Gull Lake, Minnesota, Confidence Learning Center provides year-round outdoor educational and recreational activities for people of all ages with cognitive and developmental disabilities.

Created by the Brainerd Jaycees in 2020 as a way to help local organizations and charity groups facing uncertainty due to the pandemic, America’s Ice Fishing Tournament became a way to provide an exciting virtual tournament for participants to enjoy and a way to raise funds for charity.

The 4th America’s Ice Fishing Tournament will be held on February 8th, 2025, and is open to anglers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.  Eligible species include walleye/sauger, northern pike, crappie, perch, and sunfish.  All fish must be caught through a naturally formed sheet of ice on a public body of water. Tournament will be run through the FishDonkey app, from the frozen body of water of your choice!

Join us from your favorite lake, in the comfort of your own icehouse, and have fun!
